3 Things Thursday

Just dropping in to share three things I have been noticing (with thanks to Michelle for the prompt):

I am noticing that when he points, I need to pay attention. I love being surprised by what he remembers. Bird? I don’t see a bird but yes, that is exactly where we saw a bird yesterday.

I had to get my phone repaired yesterday and I noticed how unsettled I felt walking away and knowing I would not be able to text, call, or Google.

I am noticing the feel of a new pen on paper, the softness of my journal, the crispness of the pages of a new book.

head over to visit Carole today for more lists.

  1. Oh, I love this. Before I even read your words, I was smitten with this picture…his little pointing finger, his adorable, chubby legs!!!! Little ones are wonderful for directing our attention, aren’t they?

    Each of these things you’ve noticed is so powerful, in and of themselves. So telling. And really so wonderful.

    {I’m so glad you were inspired to explore this prompt. xo}

  2. Kids are So cute at that age!
    Ooh! I LOVE the feel of a new pen and notebook!
    I understand your phone fear! I recently had to replace mine & just driving alone to the phone store, in the dark without access to phone should an emergency occur, practically gave me a panic attack. It was The worst feeling!

  3. What a treat! and thank you for sharing the prompt. It’s a wonderful reminder (and a great idea for a future blog post!)

  4. Those little legs!!!! What a fun post and adorable picture. 🙂
    (It’s amazing how weird it feels to be separated from your phone, isn’t it?)
