30 days of thankful #25

When I started this writing every day idea on November 1, I expected I would not actually post every day. I am usually rubbish at these sort of daily things although the idea appeals to me. But I have noticed that I am more consistent in other areas of life this month. I am walking and meditating almost every day, doing more meal planning, and best of all, more reading. Much more reading is happening this month. I went from being 6 books behind my Goodreads goal to two. And I am so close to finishing a few more books this week.

One reason for more reading is opening my Kindle app. I only recently discovered the free books that accompany my Prime membership. Not deep works of fiction perhaps but just what I needed to wake up my reading mojo. So today I am thankful for ebooks.

Happy last week of a November.

  1. I’ve always been thankful for books, but in the past year I’ve especially been grateful for ebooks and audiobooks and for the library/Prime reading that allow me to read them for free!

  2. That’s a very interesting assemblage of eBooks – several I’ve noted to pursue; what’s fascinating is I’m not much of an ebook reader, tho I readily embraced back in late 90s/early 2000s when [they] first became available. I do like the immediacy of them, tho!
Congrats on 25 days of posting and sharing gratitudes. I so appreciate being on this journey with you.
    Cheers~

  3. I think you’re on to something big here Juliann about how a little structure in one place leads to more structure in other places. and yay on the reading!! I’ve fallen back in love with paper these past couple of months, but you’re reminding me to get my kindle out, too (Bonny just shared with me that Madeline L’Engle’s Circle of Quiet journals are also available via Prime Reading)
