REST was in abundance this last week. I’m trying to keep on top of my bullet journaling and some of those systems that help me hold space for restful endeavors.
Don’t forget to come back next Tuesday and share how your WORD is showing up in your life.
Instructions for living a life.
Tell about it.”
― Mary Oliver, poet,
who died yesterday at the age of 83
I’m don’t spend much time with poetry but I have loved the words of Mary Oliver. These words are going into my notebook so I can carry them closely. Such very good advice.
As I have been working on letting REST become a practice and a rhythm, I have become aware of how un-restful my days can be. With a calendar and list of things to do it is easy to move through the hours without paying attention. This day, I plan to walk with my eyes wide open, paying attention, and best of all, ready to be astonished.
feels like a heart so full of joy. The last two years have been a roller coaster in many ways but this #tinyperson is the gift that keeps giving. Today this little boy turns two! On a recent visit, his great grandpa said, “He is really something. He must have good parents.” Agreed!
Our tiny person’s mama is home in the summer so our schedules are a bit different but we still get to have plenty of play time. He loves duplo blocks, gears, and cars and his Grampa. Grampa is a good playmate and can do fun things like juggling and magic tricks.
I love to peek in on these #tinytinymoments.
